ChipsCard is secure branded cash for casinos and race tracks. An industry-first, ChipsCard is a cash alternative for gambling winning payouts.

When play has finished, patrons may go to the cashier to have all or some of their winnings placed on the card. The card is branded with Discover, who is uniquely positioned against the other card networks to support gambling winning payouts. The card may be used to make payment at hotels, restaurants, and shops at the casino, but may not be used for gamming. The card may also be used outside of the casino, wherever Discover cards are accepted.

When used outside of the casino, the casino builds brand awareness. When kept in the players wallet, the card serves as a store of value to keep gambling funds separate unitl the next visit. When the customer returns to the casino, funds may be taken of the card at the cage and used for continued play.

ChipsCard is issued as a single-load prepaid card for casual visitors, and a reloadable prepaid card for frequent players. The program is designed with little upfront cost to the casino or track, and creates a marginal income stream.
